Oblates

The Oblates of Saint Benedict are laypeople affiliated with St. Joseph Monastery with the goal of sharing in the spiritual life, prayers, and works of the community. Oblates apply the teachings of Saint Benedict to their daily living and work settings.

Oblates are part of the monastic family but live outside the monastery and come from all faith traditions.

The Oblates of St. Joseph Monastery have the opportunity to attend monthly meetings, an annual retreat, and other lectures and workshops offered by the monastery. In addition, a monthly newsletter keeps members informed of upcoming events.  Oblates also have full access to the Monastery Library.

If you are interested in serving as with the Oblates, please click here.
